Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game players have a new collection to look forward to, with Konami announcing Magnificent Maestros, a 125-card set arriving on November 13, 2026. Following September's Magnificent Monsters, the new release shifts the spotlight towards iconic monsters associated with anti-heroes and villains from across the anime series. The collection also introduces new support for several popular Deck themes, alternative artwork, rare collectibles and reprints of sought-after cards.
Grand Master Rares return
One of the biggest highlights of Magnificent Maestros is the return of Grand Master Rares, which debuted in Magnificent Monsters. These cards feature elaborate foiling and hieroglyphic borders, making them particularly appealing to collectors. The set includes 18 reimagined cards inspired by Duelists such as Seto Kaiba, Zane Truesdale, Jack Atlas, Kite Tenjo and Varis, alongside Yuto, Yugo and Yuri. Each of the 18 cards can be found as a Grand Master Rare, with only 100 serial-numbered copies of each card allocated to the Americas and another 100 to other TCG territories distributed by Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. European copies feature an “E” at the end of their serial numbers, giving each card a distinct identity. These rare versions will be difficult to find, but the same 18 cards are also available in more accessible rarities. Featured monsters include Blue-Eyes White Dragon, the White Phantom Beast; Cyber End Dragon, the Final Strike Dragon; Red Dragon Archfiend's Chains; Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon – Photon Howling; Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, Four Heavenly Dragons; and Borreload Liberator Dragon. All 18 cards are available as regular Ultra Rares, while extended art versions offer another collectible option in both Ultra Rare and Starlight Rare finishes.
New support for Toon, Witchcrafter and Unchained
Beyond its headline collectibles, Magnificent Maestros introduces 21 new cards for the Toon, Witchcrafter and Unchained themes, giving players fresh options for their Decks. The collection also features 10 additional cards inspired by the anime, including the first Dark Tuner monsters from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's and Chaos End Ruler – Master of the Beginning and End from Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL. Collectors can also look forward to 10 chibi-style alternative art cards featuring familiar characters and monsters. These include Lovely Labrynth of the Silver Castle, Fallen of Albaz and Super Starslayer TY-PHON – Sky Crisis. Extended artwork receives further attention, with six additional cards from the Toon, Witchcrafter and Unchained themes. Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon, Witchcrafter Vice-Madame and Unchained Soul Lord of Yama are among the featured cards, each available in Ultra Rare and Starlight Rare versions.
Reprints and foil upgrades round out the set
The collection also offers upgrades for players looking to improve their existing cards. A total of 40 cards that have never previously been available in a foil rarity receive new treatments, including Neo the Magic Swordsman, Berserk Gorilla, Magical Scientist, Fairy Tail Ball, Angelechy Problem and Fallen Paradise of the Sacred Beasts. Reprints are another important part of the release, particularly for Toon Decks. Cards returning to the collection include Toon Bookmark, Toon Black Luster Soldier, Toon Dark Magician, Red-Eyes Toon Dragon and Toon Table of Contents. These reprints could make it easier for players to track down key cards for Toon strategies, while the new support provides further options for building and refining their Decks.
What's inside Magnificent Maestros?
Each Magnificent Maestros box contains three packs of five cards, alongside three additional bonus cards. The 15 cards across the three packs are typically Ultra Rares, although individual cards have a chance of being upgraded to extended art Ultra Rare or Starlight Rare versions. Each pack draws its five cards from different pools within the set, providing a varied selection. The three bonus cards are generally Secret Rares, with a chance of receiving Starlight Rare upgrades. One bonus card can instead be an extended art Toon, Witchcrafter or Unchained card, available in either Ultra Rare or Starlight Rare. With its combination of rare collectibles, anime-inspired designs, new Deck support and reprints, Magnificent Maestros brings plenty of variety to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG. The set launches on November 13, 2026, ahead of the holiday season.
