Yu-Gi-Oh! fans, get ready to duel in style this August – Konami is dropping not one, but two exciting new releases that mix retro vibes with championship-level flair.
First up: Retro Pack 2 is back!
Originally released in 2009 (and super hard to find), this time capsule of a booster is making a comeback with its old-school card frames, original names, and vintage text. Oh, and foil drop rates? They’ve been doubled. That’s right – shinies galore! It’s packed with 101 cards and lands on August 22.
Then comes the Limited Pack: World Championship 2025
Dropping on August 30, this mini-set celebrates the road to the 2025 World Championship with 21 blinged-out Ultra and Secret Rares – all stamped with the WCS 2025 logo. There’s even a special tri-colour version to honour France as this year’s host, plus a slick new Exodia card that looks ready to obliterate your nostalgia. Packs go for around £4 and include four cards each.
Whether you’re chasing retro thrills or championship glory, August is shaping up to be a pretty epic month for Yu-Gi-Oh! collectors and duelists alike.
