I have only just had a chance to play Kluster. I know… where have I been? Now I see on social media that this instant hit of a 2-4 player game is coming out in a 2-player format with the Kluster Duo edition. This has made me super excited already.
What can we see that is new?
It’s a smaller game with only an allowance for 2 people. So instead of 24 magnetic stones we are now down to just 12. They are a different shape though to the original and look like they may move more easily than the originals. That is my take on the movement anyway.
A different colour loop which you can only assume will be smaller than the original.
We are promised a big twist in the rules though. That will be interesting to see what the creators are doing here.
When can we get it?
From what I can tell online some pre orders for Kluster Duo have already been taken and the game is starting to ship out in January 2024. So hopefully this means coming to a local board game retailer near you very soon. I know I will be keeping an eye out for it as the original is so much fun. I wonder where I will purchase it?
