The Black Library is a mysterious place, it’s location long lost, deep within the depths of the ancient webway and protected by Aeldari guardians. That said, once it a while it does ask for new submissions, and now is one of those times.
Black Library is asking aspiring writers to pen a short piece where two well known characters meet. For example when Gotrek reunited with Thanquol or when Trazyn fought Orikan. Those are some pretty explosive scenarios but yours can be whatever you like, maybe they get on, maybe they don’t, maybe it’s a battle of words, or one of blades. It’s up to you. Which characters have you always imagined meeting each other?
There are a few rules, so pay attention, you wouldn’t want to be disqualified unnecessarily.
Entries must be in EnglishThe scene must not exceed 500 words
Your scene must only feature the two characters you have chosen
Both characters must have had a miniature made by Games Workshop at some point
No crossovers: both characters must be from the same universe
The scene must take place in one of the following settings: Vigilus, Commorragh, or Armageddon (Warhammer 40,000), and Hammerhal Aqsha, the Eightpoints, or Shadespire (Warhammer Age of Sigmar)
There is to be only one entry per person.
