MinaLima, the award-winning graphic design studio renowned for their incredible graphic style on the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts film series, have just announced their first tabletop board game: Defenders of Hogwarts.
The board game will be set in the iconic wizarding world, and is currently planned for a limited release in late 2026. This will then be followed by a global launch in spring 2027. The timing is perfect, as this lines up with the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone film (2001).
About the Game
The game was developed by designer David Waterman in collaboration with MinaLima and Warner Bros.
In the game, Death Eaters and other dark forces will infiltrate Hogwarts Castle, and players face the difficult decision of whether to join the threat or defend the school against it. To prepare, players will explore the grounds, build their spell-casting skills, and get ready for battle.
Where Can You Get Your Copy?
Defenders of Hogwarts will be available through a selection of online retailers, including House of MinaLima locations and Harry Potter shops. Cities MinaLima currently have locations in are Edinburgh, London, New York, Chicago, Osaka, Harajuku, and Seoul.
