An unpublished social deduction game has risen to the top of BoardGameGeek's Hotness list as of 22nd May 2026. It's crowdfunding campaign on Gamefound has raised over $5,600 dollars overnight. Here's all you need to know about it.
The Dice go to Hell
Falling Whale Games have released their newest project: a social deduction board game entitled "Possess Me, Satan".
A video released on the Gamefound project page explains what we can expect from this new game. Players gather to perform a ghost hunt, but something isn't quite right about this one...
Gameplay
Satan has possessed one of you with the spirit of a murderous ghost, and each time the lights go out, someone may die. Players must work together to figure out who has been possessed by the ghost, but beware, if you perform an exorcism on the wrong person, they will die.
Players can take on the roles of Investigators, Loners, Chaotics, Evil Agents, or Ghosts with specific roles they must achieve in order to win the game. Some are working for Satan, and some against him.
The game will include three difficulty modes that keep play exciting. Also, unlike other social deduction games, players who die may still commune with the living.
This new game is definitely turning heads in the tabletop world - will you fight against the darkness, or succumb to it?
