Over the years, we have gotten used to the Matt Leacock library of family weight co-operative games that strive to destroy us every time we play them. We’ve dealt with Pandemics galore, explored a Forbidden Island, crashed into a Forbidden Desert and dodged lightning in the Forbidden Sky. Now a new game has been announced, bringing things back to earth… sort of. Forbidden Jungle, a 2-5 player co-op experience lasting around 45 minutes, brings players crash-landing on a strange jungle planet. What little is known so far is that players will need to work together to find an escape portal, whilst fending off venomous creatures and dealing with the collapse of locations around them. The components list alien creatures, eggs and hatchlings, so there’s sure to be a great challenge contained within the tin. Oh yes, we’re going back to the tin.
