Modiphius Reveals New Timeline for Fallout: New Vegas RPG and Solo Adventure

Modiphius is back with fresh updates on Fallout: The Roleplaying Game, including a new release window for the much-anticipated New Vegas sourcebook, Royal Flush. Originally slated for 2023, the expansion is now expected to launch later this year, bringing a new mystery to the Mojave Wasteland. But that’s not all-Modiphius has also announced Lone Wanderer, a solo tabletop RPG, promising an experience akin to Fallout 3 and Fallout 4, set for release in 2026.

What’s in Store with Royal Flush?

Set in a new region of the Mojave Wasteland, Royal Flush will immerse players in a thrilling mystery set in New Reno. A dead body in a ditch (who could it be?) sets the stage for an unfolding crisis as a sudden surge of military-grade weapons threatens to ignite chaos across the Mojave. Expect political intrigue, faction conflicts, and the same tough choices that made New Vegas one of the most beloved games in the Fallout franchise.

Lone Wanderer: A Solo Fallout RPG

For those who want to brave the wasteland alone, Modiphius’ newly announced solo RPG, Lone Wanderer, will offer an experience in the vein of Star Trek Adventures: Captain’s Log. Players will step into the boots of a vault-dweller emerging into the post-apocalyptic world-but this time, there are more character options than ever. Fancy playing as a ghoul, super mutant, or even a robot? That’s on the table.

As a solo RPG, Lone Wanderer will use Modiphius’ 2d20 system to generate stories dynamically, meaning no two journeys into the wasteland will be the same. If you’ve ever dreamed of playing as New Vegas’ very own cowboy securitron Victor, this could be your chance.

Expanding the Fallout Universe

Modiphius isn’t stopping at Royal Flush and Lone Wanderer. More Fallout sourcebooks are on the way, fleshing out the history, factions, and landscapes of the Capital Wasteland, the Commonwealth, the Appalachian Wasteland, New California, and more uncharted areas of the Mojave.

With new adventures, expanded lore, and fresh ways to explore the Fallout universe, the next few years are shaping up to be an exciting time for tabletop vault-dwellers.
