If you’ve ever wanted to turn your love of Mexican food into a tabletop challenge, MNKYMND Games has you covered. Their new game, Chimichangas and Tacos, is now available in US retail, letting players whip up virtual taquitos, nachos, quesadillas, enchiladas, burritos - and, naturally, chimichangas - while racing against each other.
The gameplay is simple but interactive. On your turn, you draw two chips from the pile, choose one to start or add to a meal, then return the other chip. Ingredients are stacked in the correct order (shown on the back of each chip) to score points, following the menu’s guidance. Miss an ingredient or mis-order a meal and you could face a penalty. Condiment chips add a little flexibility when you need a boost. At the end of each round, the player with the highest score grabs a Taco Token, and the first to collect two wins.
Designed for 2–3 players, ages 8 and up, the game takes around 10–20 minutes per session, making it a quick, snackable experience that works for families, friends, or casual tabletop sessions.
This release follows Irukandji, MNKYMND Games’ previous entry into tabletop play, showing the publisher’s continued interest in fun, approachable games with simple mechanics and playful themes.
