Things have been quiet on the Brass games front for some time now, which is surprising given that Brass Birmingham currently is rated as the best board game of all time on BoardGameGeek and has been for quite some time now, That wait is no more and we are finally crossing the Atlantic for the first time for Brass Pittsburgh. This new game in the Brass series has just been announced for 2026 and as the follow up to one of my all time favourite games, I’m a tad excited. Here is what we know so far!
Brass Pittsburgh comes from Roxley games and Gavan Brown who co-designed Brass Birmingham with Martin Wallace and we are swapping the canals for the industrial boom of the late 19th century where the titans of Carnegie, Vanderbilt, Frick and Rockefeller building a network of railways, pipelines, steel mill and oil refineries.
Roxley have said they are going to drip feed us new information every couple of weeks before launching a crowdfunding campaign in February 2026.
It’s been 7 years since Brass Birmingham and we can’t wait to see what new mechanisms and content the game is going to feature.
