Perplext has officially announced Quagmire, a brand-new board game that expands on BOG, the two-player micro card game designed to cleverly fit into a tiny box! BOG is part of the Pack-O-Game series designed by Chris Handy, who now brings us his most recent design: Quagmire.
Toad-ally New Design
Quagmire will move away from the highly portable design of the Pack-O-Game series into a big-box strategy game designed for 2-4 players. It promises a really fun, unique game play that can shift the ground beneath your opponent's feet.
In Quagmire, players must work to navigate a treacherous, ever-changing landscape - the game heavily expands on the foundation that has been laid by BOG's clever grid movement and area control.
Not Your Bog Standard Game
The board game will contain several cool components, including a modular lily-pad filled pond as the main game board, frog tiles, and fly tokens. Players work to move frogs, eat flies, and squash rivals to complete routes across the board. The game features the amazing artwork of Magdalena Markowska who continues her artwork from BOG. It has also won The Dice Tower Seal of Excellence!
