Huge news launched on social media from Mantic Games, the creators of such games as Worms – the Board Game, Halo Flashpoint and The Walking Dead All Out War. The announcement of Assassin’s Creed Animus is hugely exciting from these masters of converting Video games to the tabletop.
A Kickstarter campaign is coming this month of August 2025!
I’m not a big video gamer but I know Assassins Creed is a giant in the video games world with a huge player and fan base. We are informed that players will get to play as their favourite characters from the entire Assassins Creed series in a thrilling board game of stealth, combat and adventure.
The campaign page is available to follow now to receive the update of that campaign launch. Unbelievably there are nearly 9,000 followers at time of writing. That’s incredible, and yet not surprising either. There is not a lot else to go on though other than it is a game for 2-4 players.
Mantic games on their website note they have teamed up with Ubisoft. They note.
