Board Game Spotlight: Pandemic Contagion

Today’s board game spotlight sees us taking a look a twist of the Pandemic series as we unveil Pandemic Contagion.

In Pandemic Contagion between two and five players attempt to take down mankind in the guise of the world’s most deadly diseases. With no cure to be had, the one of you that wipes out all human civilisation will come out on top as the most deadly disease ever known to man, may he rest in peace.

The Game

Pandemic Contagion sees each player trying to compete against each other as they try and rid the world of human civilisation. Turns will consist of players taking two of three possible actions, these can be advancing the mutations of your disease, drawing contagion cards or spreading your disease. As your disease infects the land so to shall you wipe out the populations of cities and as such gain special actions.

However, mankind will not go down easily!!

The game’s events, or WHO cards, will slow down your disease’s spread. However, with planning these can be somewhat negated. At the end of the game the player who scored the most points will be the victor and the bane of mankind.
