The Star Wars Deckbuilding Game released as a head to head game for two players, with one playing as the Rebels and the other the Empire as you expanded your deck using resources each turn, and attacked the other player’s base and cards in the market to gain rewards. It is a fantastic game that was later followed up by a standalone Clone Wars edition. I really loved how Star Wars the Deckbuilding Game is fast to play and teach, and I quite often get it out before or after a larger game.
The great thing is that if you bought both editions you could mix and match the factions you are playing with. Well, Fantasy Flight Games have just announced a new fifth faction for the game with the Mandalorian Faction pack. Unlike the Clone Wars edition, this isn’t a standalone product but one which requires either the original game, or the Clone Wars edition to play.

The Star Wars Deckbuilding Mandalorian Faction pack adds a whole new faction, with iconic characters, so you can finally play a Grogu card. 10 bases, 10 starter cards and 30 galaxy cards.
One of the things I’m really excited about is the introduction of new 3 player rules with the set which also includes 15 neutral 3 players only cards.
The Star Wars Deckbuilding game Mandalorian Faction pack is expected to release in October this year!
