You fell your forest land to make room for them. Each building provides actions and benefits. These are a unique serving each game, so you'll build a different engine of a fishing business each time. So what does the Nusfjord: Salmon Deck provide? This contains 44 new building cards. It's suggested that these buildings are for players who already have a grasp of how Nusfjord works. This deck is not the sort of thing you'd throw into the mixer when teaching it to new players! You could compare this deck to, say, the Bubulcus Deck for Agricola (another Uwe Rosenberg game). As well as providing all those new cards, this Salmon Deck also comes with 25 metal coins. These are a direct replacement for the cardboard coins (chits) that you get in the base game.
