I got hugely excited today on seeing this news on social media. Z Man Games announced on 22nd January 2025, via their instagram page, that a new game is coming…. The Lord of the Rings: Fate of the Fellowship.
A new cooperative game for 1-5 players. The post noted that this game takes the Pandemic gaming systems to new heights with “Story-rich challenges and flavorful mechanics.”
Players get to bring together the Fellowship of the ring to take down the forces of Sauron attempting to save Middle Earth. There is very limited information at this point but 24 different objectives, 14 events, 13 playables characters, This is so exciting.
It’s noted that June 2025 is when the game will be available worldwide. However, for us lucky folk in the UK it is being hinted that it will be available to purchase at the UKGE 2025. As if that event isn’t exciting enough already.
Fate of the Fellowship has rocketed high on my wishlist already. I love the Lord of the Rings stories, the characters and epic battles within. I am really looking forward to hearing more information get unveiled on this one going into the Summer.
