Mazaza Games launched their Kavango Lodges expansion at 4pm (UK time) on the 21st of October and it took just 4 minutes for them to achieve their £5,000.00 goal. The campaign is off to a flying start and is due to run on to the 21st November 2025 so plenty of time to get involved.
There is a clear sight of what is available now for backers. All fans of the game who already own will be most interested in the returning fans backing option, or base expansion. Fear not if you do not own the game as there are other options to back to purchase the full game with expansion. Take a look on the Kickstarter page as there is plenty of other detailed content and reviews from assorted social media gaming influencers.
For anyone unaware of what the Lodges brings to Kavango, it adds another layer of puzzling complexity to the game where animal placement in the nature reserve is critical if you want to get your high scoring lodges into play. I’ve written about it before and it is a gem of an addition to the already brilliant Kavango.
Congratulations to Matt and Zara at Mazaza games for smashing your goal on day 1. I had no doubt it would be achieved and I’m thrilled that it is there. Here’s to 2026 and the chance for everyone to get their hands on Kavango Lodges.
