The Dropout streaming service has officially launched their Kickstarter for an at-home version of its hit show Game Changer.
Backers have already pledged over $1,000,000 and counting, well exceeding their original target of $40,000.
From TV to Tabletop
The new game will bring the fun and chaos of Dropout's popular show to your next board game night. The tabletop game will include variations of three games played on the show: Bingo, Name a Number, and Sam Says.
The trailer released on YouTube explains in more detail how the show will be translated to the tabletop. The Kickstarter page also goes into more detail on each of the three game variations and how they will work.
About the Game
Different versions of the game are available, alongside add-ons and pledge rewards. Currently, for $19 you can get the Sam Says Sampler Edition, which acts as a taste of the Sam Says version that will be featured in the full game.
A pledge of $39 will get you the full Game Changer Home Edition, with everything you need to play all the games. More merchandise (not essential to the overall game) is also available to buy through the Kickstarter, including: a Game Changer: Home Edition T-Shirt, a wooden hourglass timer, key rings, a play mat and card sleeves.
