Fans of Brass have something new on the horizon, as Roxley Games prepares to launch the crowdfunding campaign for Brass: Pittsburgh next week.
Ahead of that, a short teaser trailer has dropped, offering an early look at the latest entry in the economic strategy series from designers Martin Wallace and Gavan Brown.
A return to industry
Brass: Pittsburgh shifts the action to the United States during the late 19th century, putting players in charge of growing industrial empires.
Designed for 2–4 players, the game focuses on building networks of railroads, pipelines, and production sites - ranging from steelworks to oil refineries - while navigating evolving markets across the board.
New elements include expanded market systems, unique locomotives, and additional industries, all aimed at refreshing the classic Brass formula while keeping its core economic gameplay intact.
Campaign timing and rollout
The crowdfunding campaign was initially planned for February but has now been pushed to March 24. According to Roxley, the delay allows the game to launch simultaneously in seven languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Chinese, and Polish.
That wider rollout suggests a strong global push right from the start, rather than a staggered release.
