Asmodee is taking a page from the Pokémon playbook with its latest addition to the Star Wars: Unlimited trading card game line. The new release, Intro Battle Hoth, is a beginner-friendly standalone set designed to make it easier than ever to jump into the galaxy-spanning TCG.

Each player takes control of one of the 50-card decks – Rebel or Imperial – and duels across a match that lasts about 20 minutes. Asmodee recommends it for ages 12 and up, though the streamlined ruleset should make it accessible for younger players with a bit of guidance.
