The beloved indie digital board-game is marking it’s 10th Anniversary with a brand new 8-Novella Collection!
On 5th November 2025, games writer Alex Kain launched “Armello: The Founding and the Fall”, a Kickstarter campaign that will bring together eight novellas into a premium hardcover collection under this title. The book will gather the original seven downloadable stories and one brand new tale into a singular collection!
The campaign has already outdone its £19,139 goal with a total of £31,603! The campaign still has a while to go yet, but with such a strong start, it’s bound to mean even more support and even more rewards!
What is Armello?
In a fairy-tale inspired, animal inhabited-world, lies the kingdom of Armello. Players choose from one of the main clans – wolves, rats, rabbits or bears – and compete to claim the throne of the king who is dying from the corrupting force known as “The Rot”. Armello was developed by League of Geeks in 2015, and was released as a video game that combines digital board games, card game, and RPG mechanics.
Game play takes places on a hex-based board, which sees players spend action points to move, explore dungeons, and complete quests together. Cards, dice, and RNG play big roles in this game, but most important are your strategy and timing skills.
Why are the novellas so special?
As Armello turns 10 years old, this magical collection offers a deeper insight into the lore and world of Armello.
